Noise Level Exposure Testing (Dosimeter)

Noise dosimetry measures the amount of noise workers are exposed to over their 8, 10, or 12-hour work day. Knowing how much noise workers are exposed to is essential to protecting their hearing. To do that, a dosimeter test must be done to provide comprehensive information under varying conditions, in multiple locations, and attached to different employees.

We will conduct the test for 8 hours and will do a TWA (time-weighted average) for an eight-hour shift to determine the noise level in a certain area.

We can provide up to ten (10) dosimeter readings at one time in different areas to test noise levels.

The employer will receive a full analysis of each area tested to determine if the employees working in the noisy area need to be enrolled in a hearing conservation program.
